I enjoy learning about hiking routes, national parks, and outdoor destinations in Japan, such as Mount Tanigawa, Mount Tsubakuro, and the Yakushima Jōmon Sugi Trail. I write these guides by researching official and published sources, including national park, tourism, transport, and mountain hut websites. I have not visited every place covered here, and I try to be clear when a guide is based on research rather than personal experience.
